Edufi

Empowering communities through education and faith.

We are a Canadian not-for-profit driven by a commitment to help marginalized communities through education and sustainable development, rooted in compassion, cooperation, and faith.

Chukwunonso Nwawolo, Founder

Chukwunonso Nwawolo

Driven by a belief that education is the cornerstone of lasting change, Nonso founded Edufi to transform lives through accessible schooling and community development.

Starting with a $500 fundraiser in 2020, he guided the organization from emergency relief to sustainable educational partnerships across Africa, always emphasizing dignity and community-led solutions.

Like Chalice, I believe that education is the first and most important step to change. Every child deserves the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through learning.

The Edu Aid Program is transforming lives for students like Wendy Eriofoloh in Nigeria

Launched in March 2024, Edu Aid sponsors eight secondary students across two partner schools in Delta State. Your giving turns school fees from a worry into a real path forward.

Wendy and her sister Winifred study at Greenfield International School in Warri. After Wendy earned recognition in mathematics, her teachers shared how sponsorship raises confidence for the whole classroom, not just one family.

  • Full tuition and fees covered for the 2025/2026 academic year
  • Books, uniforms, and mentorship so students can focus on learning
  • Relief for families who could not afford school on their own
